Review & Swatches ♡ BOE Beauty Matte Lip Creams

Hello my lovelies! Today's review is on the BOE Beauty Matte Lip Creams. This is a very affordable brand, which is exclusive to BigW Stores. I was recently wandering through BigW and I decided to pick up some of their matte lip creams to try out, and I have been extremely impressed.

This range of Matte Lip Creams comes in four different shades, of which I picked up 3. There was also  a nude shade available, but I did not think that it would have suited my skin colour, so I decided to leave it behind.

The texture of these matte lip creams is exceptional! They are creamy, and smooth feeling on the lips, and not drying.

Personally, I would not say that these lip creams have a true matte formula, instead I would say they have a semi-matte or natural finish. This isn't a problem for me, as I actually prefer this sort of finish, but I do realise that it could be an issue for other people on the market for a true matte lip cream.

These lip creams have great pigmentation. One thin layer provides a nice colour payoff, but they can easily be built up to a strong colour in a few layers. Unlike other matte lip creams that i've tried (Australis Velourlips, i'm talking about you!) they can be layered easily without any flakiness or bunching up.

The lasting power of these lip creams is fairly good. As with most lip products, they will wear off with eating or drinking, but they do wear off evenly. Even once the product is removed from the lips, they still leave a nice stain on the lips.

I will recommend to stay away from these if you dislike scented products. They do not have an overpowering scent, but they do definitely have a faint rose/floral scent.

The packaging of these lip creams is average in my eyes. It is not as good a quality as high end brands (as expected), but is also not overly tacky. They have a matte black lid with a shiny clear bottle, which allows you to see the true colour of the product. You apply this lip stain with a doe foot applicator.

In my opinion, the best part about these lip creams is their price. They are sold for $2 AUD each, which means that the whole collection can be acquired for only $8. How could you possibly say no?

#32 Blush Pink
This is a gorgeous natural muted pink shade, perfect for everyday use. Such a versatile colour. It applies darker than it looks in the tube.

#33 Shock Pink
This is a bright fuchsia purple colour, perfect for adding a pop of colour to your makeup look.

#34 Pillarbox
A stunning, vibrant red shade. This is the perfect red that every girl needs in her collection!

Overall, these lip stains are of an amazing quality for the price. They have a soft and buttery texture, are highly pigmented, and last well on the lips. The only cons to this product is that they are only accessible in Australia, they are not a true matte formula, and there aren't many shades in the range. But for only $2 each, the cons are easy to look past!
